CK over at 3650 and a 12-inchis getting an offer to tradein his Nokia 3650 for a nokia 3200 or other phone — there’s apparently a lot of this going around, I’ve seen a bunch of people being offered an “upgrade” from their Sony Ericcson t68i, to a phone with *fewer* features.
Apparently it has something to do with AT&T changing the network frequency that their phones operate on… Which seems odd.
The only thing I can say about the Nokia 3200 is that its EDGE-capable, which is AT&T’s 2.5g high speed data network. It’s not quite broadband, but it’s MUCH better than the modem-slow speeds of GPRS. Unfortunately the 3200 doesn’t have bluetooth, which sucks, and AT&T still doesn’t have an unlimited data plan, which means that if you’re like me and you have to go two weeks without cable, you’re going to rack up quite a bill…
Thanks to this post I’ll be blogging with links more regularly, I imagine:Fixing the MT bookmarklet for Safari :: The Daily Journey :: JayAllen.org
First of all, I just want to say welcome back to myself. It’s been a busy week, and tuesday was my first day back on the broadband wagon — 10 days without a cable modem (and cable TV for that matter) was quite the challenge. But alas, here I am, able to waste my time with the best of them.

This is good for web designers, but also anyone who wants to customize the look and feel of just about ANY website, using your own custom style sheet for a site.

We’ve Completed The Big Move, to our lovely new apartment. The amazing thing is how spacious it feels even after all our crap was moved in.
I just set up my computer, and my desk is now stained a lovely pecan color, which is nice. Still a lot of work to do, but the biggest drag right now is the fact that my high-speed internet connection is, well, nonexistant. I’m connecting right now through my cell phone, which is slow as BM, but it works. Dial up speeds (slower, really), welcome back! Time warner says February 24 (9 days and counting) before they can set it up, but I’m hoping I can get some strings pulled with some people I know.
Anyway, I’ll post pictures soon…
